PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS
It takes just a few minutes to add your business listing and start advertising on our directory. You're required to create an account and sign in to your new account. You'll also need to have your company logo and promotional images or photos ready.
1. ADD BUSINESS LISTING
After signing in you will be taken to your Dashboard.
Create a new Business Listing from your Dashboard by selecting the Business Listings link from the menu shown on the left (or menu icon above your name when using a smartphone) – the procedures are detailed as follows:
Click on the Add Business Listing button and select your option from the products listed. Confirm your selection by clicking the Submit button.
Select your Primary Category by clicking on one of the 8 main categories and selecting the most appropriate subcategory. Confirm your selection by clicking on the Submit button. If you’re unable to find a suitable subcategory, then select Other. [please forward an email request to us to add the subcategory for you]
Fill in and select all of the required fields. Also upload your company logo and the Gallery images that will be used for the scrolling banner – recommended size to ensure optimal display and minimize potential cropping or scaling issues is 1024 x 768 pixels in JPG or PNG format (maximum 10MB). [please take note that this is the information and images that will be displayed on your advert]
When done, click on the Submit button. An error message will be displayed if any of the required fields have not been completed/selected. If okay, the payment processing page will load.
2. PAYMENT PROCESSING
All payments are made by credit or debit card, or direct EFT via a secure online payment gateway that supports all popular payment options in South Africa – the procedures are detailed as follows:
Click on PayFast to select the payment option, and type the Discount Code in the text box (if applicable). Click on the Submit button to apply the discount – 'Discount has been applied to the invoice' message will be displayed.
When you’re ready, again click on the Submit button. The Payment pop-up will be loaded and the amount payable will be displayed. Pick your preferred payment option – popular options are Credit & Cheque card, Instant EFT or Debit Card.
Follow the on-screen prompts or click on Change Payment Method to pick another option.
If you prefer not to make use of the secure online payments, then contact us to make alternative arrangements for off-line EFT payments.
INFO & TIPS
After your advert has been submitted for manual approval, and there are no edits required, it should be live within 1 business day.
You’re able to select two or more extra subcategories (depending on your product selection).
Logos with a white background generally don’t display well.
Remember to drag the position marker on the maps to show your exact location.
Take care when completing the Title and Summary fields as this is the information displayed, together with your logo, when a prospective customer/client views the search results.
When completing the Description use as many relevant keywords as possible – the search function uses these keywords to match results. For the same reason you may want to create a bilingual description.
Test the links provided for your email, website and social media accounts.
Only provide the street name and number in the Address field – the Postal Code and town name selected under Location are automatically appended to the Address field.
Pick UTC+2 on the Timezone field.
Go back to Business Listings on your Dashboard to preview or edit your listing (advert). Your Invoices, Reviews and Unique Visitor Statistics can also be viewed here.
Go to Edit Profile on your Dashboard to update the missing information on your profile – this will ensure that your invoices contain the correct and accurate information for record keeping.
